Lab 05 - Deck for the management meeting

Lab 05 - Deck for the management meeting

Time: 35 minutes Where: PowerPoint (desktop or web) Goal: turn your report from Lab 3 into 3 – 5 slides in the company design. Chapter: Copilot in PowerPoint

Task 5.1 – Deck from the report (12 min)

  1. In OneDrive open TRAXIA_firemna_sablona.pptx and save a copy as Porada_vedenia_divizia.pptx (File → Save as / Save a copy).
  2. Open Copilot and enter (choose your Lab 3 document with /; if you don’t have it, use Strategicke_podklady_2027.docx):
Create a presentation from /Stav_divizie_porada for the management meeting. Max. 5 slides: 1) title, 2) summary in 3 points, 3) finance of the three projects over budget, 4) top 3 risks, 5) decisions we need. Phrase the titles as conclusions. Use the layouts of this template. Write the slides in Slovak.
  1. Review the result – were the template colours and layouts kept?

Task 5.2 – Edit with prompts (10 min)

Try at least three:

On the finance slide show the 3 projects as a table: budget, estimate at completion, variance in %.
Add a slide "D1 WIM – options" comparing options A, B, C (cost, risk, customer impact) based on Tomáš Baláž's e-mail.
Shorten the text on all slides to max. 4 bullets of 8 words each.
Add speaker notes to each slide – what I should say, about 60 seconds per slide.

Task 5.3 – Check before the meeting (8 min)

Use Copilot skills (if available, in the Copilot pane or via @):

  • Review this presentation – what is unclear?
  • Prepare for questions:
Which 5 questions will the CFO and the CEO probably ask about this presentation? Suggest short answers.

Task 5.4 – Summarize someone else’s deck (5 min)

Close your deck and swap files with your neighbour (share via OneDrive) or open any presentation and enter:

Summarize this presentation in 5 points and tell me what decision the author needs.

Check

  • The deck has 4 – 6 slides in the TRAXIA design
  • The figures on the finance slide match Excel
  • Every slide has speaker notes
  • I have a list of likely questions and answers
